What this policy covers

This page covers two things: the information you send through the contact form on Eiguru’s own website (www.eiguru.com), and the countries where the data of students using the practice app is handled. The full notice for students inside the practice app is the one their school provides.

What we collect

Your school’s name, your name, your email address, and optionally a phone number and a message. Nothing beyond what you type into the form.

Why we use it

Only to reply to you and to carry on the conversation that follows. It is never used for advertising or newsletters, and it is never sold or passed to anyone else.

Where it is stored

The form is sent as an email and kept in Eiguru’s mailbox. Delivery goes through Brevo, which stores mail inside the EU. Nothing is written to a database.

How long we keep it

About two years after our conversation ends, then it is deleted. Ask us sooner and we will delete it sooner.

Seeing or deleting your information

To see, correct or delete what we hold, email support@eiguru.com. We will confirm it is you, then act on it.

Where practice-app data is handled

The practice app a school gives its students uses services in the three countries below. Each was vetted before we adopted it, and each is bound by contract to protect the data to the standard Japanese law requires. Student names and email addresses are never sent to the AI.

  • Singapore: the database and error reports (all learning data, and error details)
  • United States: AI marking and usage analytics (the English a student wrote, never their name, and usage logs)
  • EU (France, Germany, Belgium): sending email (names and email addresses)

The full notice for students lives inside the practice app. Eiguru writes it, and each school gives it to its students.

Who to contact

Questions about any of this go to support@eiguru.com.
